Our Programs

Ute Mountain Ute Tribe’s Environmental Programs Department (EPD) is responsible for administering public health and environmental protection programs on the Ute Mountain Ute Tribal Lands. The mission of this department is to work with communities to conserve resources and protect the environment in order to increase the quality of life for all Tribal Members and future generations of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe (UMUT). The EPD has developed several programs to address environmental health and public health concerns on the Tribal Lands.
