Towaoc Recycles has been created to decrease the amount of Solid Waste that the Ute Mountain Ute Reservation produces. We do our best to protect the Environmental globally by making local efforts, and respecting and preserving the cultural and traditional practices of the Ute people.

Each Earth Day the Environmental Program sponsors a Spring Cleanup in the communities of Towaoc and White Mesa. Garbage and other unwanted items are collected and dropped in designated landfills.
